Traveling when weather or road conditions may justify the requirement of one escort vehicle. The permit holder is responsible for arranging a police escort for any permitted move that is 16 feet wide or more, has a gross weight of 75 tons or more, or when road or weather conditions warrant it. Additionally, traveling against traffic may require the use of two escort vehicles.
